marty, turns out your right, no point in rushing through something. at least this has given me a starting point, but i can see it's going to take a lot longer than i anticipated, well, if i want to sound half decent anyway lol

i would be interested to see how long each person has worked on theirs once the entries are in, not much way of telling though really :?

wow....all i got is my kick drum, i like to take ages on drums thou like hours and hours

Good samples marty :wink: Lots of nice stuff to work with. That printer sound's being used in the beats.

actually the compilation of this samplepack was a quickshot, ripping some stuff from old cds and several samplepacks on the net... :)

good to see more and more people participating! looking forward to hear the final results but take your time, deadline is 5th of may. so nuff time left ;)

The moloko vocal is awesome been after it for a while. Not keen on the other samples, Bit of a cliqche, skank piano/guitar, the ragga vocals, the 808. Is this a best generic dubstep cut and paste competition?

well, you're allowed to modify and use it however you want and i've never said you should use it in a cliché way. actually that's the point of a competition like this, isn't it?

EDIT: i also think that there's something inside for everyone. so take it easy and come up with some creativity.

i was on point on that one. while i was checking how many downloads there have been already the counter was straight at 138 :)

also there will be less tunes to upload :)
