I don't like much shitmat cause it's a little the same all the time... amen + stupid sample... one song in a mix can be funny but don't like more !
I don't want music to be serious but most of the funny breakcore business ends being stupid

Are you thinking of His Fucking Sound? It's an all []pusher mix by someone else rather than Mr Jenkinson pon de ones and twos, but you can find it here:

keggarhey: yeah, I think what's turned me off a bit about the zany / funny stuff is that it has this sense of not really mattering in the way old jungle did - I guess you could say they were taking themselves too seriously, but when you hear jungle you really feel like it's something important going on. I guess some breakcore still does that though...

I not that i hate this thing but ...i don't know it's seem like a kind of simplicity...like you take amen you put disto, you put the silliest sample on it ... voila ! you got your tune !
on the other hand i don't like darkside stuff who also take them to seriously ...
For me it's just music to dance on...it's not a bad thing or a stupid one so i don't like when the sound is taking itself too seriously has you say...
It's nor a stupid nor a smart job but it's a pleasant one to make tracks for the dancefloor...

Jungle have been a forward thinking, breakcore two but i don't know if it's now ? there lots of good tracks but the scene is full of badly produced, and poor idea (hidden behind distorsion)... like in most of dance music

honestly, I don't, but I know my boyfriend has it on his computer, so pm me your AIM sn or something, and when I am over his house, I will send it to you, k ?

That mix was the mix that got me into squarepusher. Never mind that I dated someone who's crazy about him.

That mix was the mix that got me into squarepusher. Never mind that I dated someone who's crazy about him.

Yeah, I think Venetian Snares' stuff is stupidly mental! I like it though, stuff like Integraation off of My Downfall.

Wisp's definitely worth checking out it you fancy listening to something a bit easier on the ears. HumpelndenBEATS is especially good.
