'Night Vision' is a pinnacle that may not be topped I'd say

yeah that bit wear it drops down an octave in night vision is the best bit
distance is the daddy - hes like the darth vader of dubstep
love his tracks like 3rd wish / empire / taipan
almost sounds like the bass n synth lines are the language of some dark mystikal beast demon thingy
rekorder knows the score - his early breakstep stuff is great
Closer Than You Think ep / replicant ep etc
love his tracks hes done with cyrus - "sureder" + "violate"
hope they come out soon
same goes for "victim support" 2

yes, empire is absolutely epicPiston wrote:i don't agree with you guys lol
i have everything hes done including his boka release
night vision is miles ahead for me
v is great but very repetitive compared to night vision
why does it always have to be either a new tune or the first tune that gets mentioned as being someones best?
night vision is more interesting and better produced
empire is id say better than any of the other tunes mentioned
imo of course
Re: 'Night Vision' is a pinnacle that may not be topped I'd
my dose of pedantry for the day... it's only a third, not an octave.Piston wrote:
that bit when it goes down an octave is my favourite bit of any dubstep tune so far...
that said, distance's use of octave displacement in tunes like the v and victim support is exactly what makes them so heavy

Itll be a few years yet! (Cant believe ive got it on vinyl!!!)
Anyway, I know it's a little bit hype but it is also the best in its league by some way - that newer track of his with a vaguely similar sound to the V. Mala dropped it at DMZ, got about 3 rewinds. Someone remind me of the id?

I never got Night Vision, just never grabbed my attention. Empire however is still imo, one of the best dubstep tunes made to date. The Wiggle Baron wrote:Now you mention it, shit yeah! I remember Joe Nice dropping a VIP of it at the 2nd b-day? I think. I was cunted. But that tune was sick.
