Why bother blowing a ton of cash on vinyl when there are a ton of dubs you can even get free on this board and other places? Plus I produce as many others do.. who wants to pay $15 [after shipping] to play 1 side of someone else's record when you can smash a tune up even harder yourself!

deep medi, dmz, hyperdub, white labels. you can't get these as a .wav or 320 unless you're stealing!

i'd love to do both, vinyl and cd/digi but its a lot of hassle.
i wait til i've got 3 or 4 .wav or 320 tunes that i've bought or hassled off a producer then get a 10" dub made with dubstudio with two tracks on each side for £25.
it IS kind of pricey, but it works as quality control too. i'm only gonna spend the money on those tracks if they're worth it, not becuase i want to see how they sound on a rig.

i can see where you're coming from though. however, you don't get the 'new vinyl' buzz from buying new mp3s

Yeah I'm not trying to knock it, do what feels right to you - that's the bottom line of course

And of course who doesn't like getting in vinyl But the pain of $$$...

Hyperdub is on beatport but yeah, I'm sure other stuff isn't. Typically though it's going the other way


Anyway just wanted to clear it up that I'm not trying to change anybody's mind, really just trying to see what's up with other people in other parts of the world
