the knowledge/like sun is one of the best dubstep 12s ever released, both tunes are comparitively old now but still sound like some next shit when compared to loads of stuff being released at the moment...

my copy of 'like sun' has a little divet in the vinyl right about when the "drop" happens.

thanks for the heads up Cfour didn't know he had stuff to dl.

and back to my original question...

so basically, Toasty is just really busy with life and doesn't have time to make new tunes right now?

Theres about 50 toasty threads on this forum, and every new one that gets made just highlights the love and universal frustration over more releases. I have a feeling we'll see some tunes in the future but, if not im sure we'll be talking about toasty in 5 more years....

i'd pay an obscene amount to see him mix, or just play tunes that he thinks are good one after another
I got him down to Bristol about 3 years ago, the man is a very nervous DJ, and insisted on only taking a booking when he had bare new plates to fling.

Dunno what he was worried about, he was amazing....

big producer, timeless tunes. always makes tunes ahead of their time. believe me, Live Life Feel It is an old tune but i dont think peeps would have been ready 4 it back then. the fact that DJs are still playin tunes he made 3 plus years ago is an example of his vision when he makes a track, timelessness, and his tunes fit into most sub-genres of dance music. Lickable has always been an all time fave of mine and As 1, just a shame he is so busy with other stuff

There was one track, featuring a particularly savage, writhing bassline that was so nasty I had to lean over and have a sneaky look at the dubplate. Hand written on the label were the words "Cold Blooded". Look out for that one, kids - phew!!
lol you weren't wrong :D

i'm going to start a petition to get him playing somewhere again

you know bro!

then after that, the brighton rock remix, the booty remix...etcetc

there's too many 2003-2004 toasty bits that never saw the light of day. loads of reasons why, and all are understandble, but frustrating.

out to damo always.
