saw something like that on the rob acid mastering vid someone posted up here. sounds amazing in concept, do they actually measure up to real gear tho?

Use a combination of the best quality software and hardware you can.

I master for CD and mp3 in my studio using Universal Aduio plugins and some tla & focusrite hardware.

You can get good results at home if you know what you are doing.

Leave vinyl mastering to the pros!
