My Mum used to work with Mala and she always used to pick his tunes out as her faves when I would play them in the house.

my mom has been buggin' me to get her copies of the latest release i had on wax. LOL. she has no record player. i think she just wants to show it off to her friends that her po' ass daughter is at least accomplishing SOMETHING!Little Boh Peep wrote:My mom likes what I write. my mum likes geoim and silkie, my dad was feeling "hunter", he said the strings in it were "really creepy" but he meant it in a good sense haha

come to think of it my dad played me jungle tracks when i was younger and bought me my first tapes and stereo. The tapes were deep heat acid house compilations and the technotronic album!! He also bought a copy of represent after the mercury music prize bizzle. Dont think he likes dubstep, although id imagine he might enjoy the burial album!
am sure my mum is the one who listened the most the Sub Stance compilation cd we released back in the day with Aeclectrick Records

Being a Dad of a 13 yr old Lad and a dubhead since most you peeps where just a glint in ya parents eye I have been well impressed by the good vibes at all the dubstep party's ive been to, much respect for that..
I took my lad to see public enemy ( with the bomb squad ) he showed most of the crowd how to step up to the bass weight. was nice cos I was only 15 when I saw Public Enemy first time around!!
when he goes to his mums she moans at him to turn it down cos she only likes 'Proper Dub' whatever the fuck that is.. oh well... just burnt him a copy of london zoo,
I told him to turn it up loud and proud.
Peace,
Fight the power..
