if you're a reaktor owner i'm 'continually' updating new sounds for the carbon1 synth patch in the Reaktor user library for people to download...(basic wobbles/sub bass types/noisia style reeses...)...it's been a while since i've updated it...430 downloads no complaints...damn i should update that

in essence its sharing presets i make...(they are not a one stop solution users need to tweak em for preference etc.)

A follow on approach to some of the basslines provided would be to transpose those basslines to other scales (move all the notes up or down the same number of steps)

The link below shows a chart that gives a list of minor scales, which can have a "moody - dark" sound that is great for Dubstep production.

Use the notes, or some of the notes, within one scale to create your own basslines.

You, can harmonize these scales using a polyphonic synth by adding additional notes on the same step in your sequence by placing notes up and down the scale 5 or 7 steps.

That minor scale thing seems quite useful.

I like to find one of those online piano or guitar things and just mess around making up chords shapes, you can play them back to see what they sound like.
