there seems to be alot of hate for this series seeing as 3 out of 5 are really dull and none of them are exactly clever/original

but war001 http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=32977

and war003 http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=94017 (the A side is literally exactly the same as the original but with some drums added and a synth substituted for a real bass, but its still fucking HUGE)

http://www.enter-the-lion.de/7inch/gene ... ension.mp3 that's the original if you were curious

It's good, although I was disappointed that he didn't use the obvious riff for maximum cheese...

Reggae refixes normally annoy me if I know the original, largely because classic reggae tunes are often deeper and heavier than most dubstep so I'd normally rather hear the original tune...

on wax too!!
Dub & Run dar002, 003 ( september )

shameless promotion :)

but seriously, its a good way to get your foot in the door, as it can be difficult to get people to listen to your tracks anywhere, but if you've got a recognisable voice etc.. on board, people are way more likely to listen, and more likely to remember your name when you come back with your original content...

Awesome Shadow Dubs Bootleg

Post by deckgeneral » Wed Aug 27, 2008 7:56 pm

Hi Guys,

As a foot note to this thread i have heard a few people playing SHADOW DUBS this track ep out, and it works fantastically, as a dubstep bootleg or is it a remix, whatever it sounds fantastic and is getting a huge following...

I would love to know who did it, to sign them up for my label, probably a big name dj producer under a pseudonym...

I have no idea about this "Shadow Dubs"-one, but according to the topic some of you might want to check this:
