Not that the democrats are worth shit either for that matter, but at least they are willing to embrace the twentieth century if not the 21st
if they were willing to embrace the 21st century, McCain wouldn't have had the opportunity to use women this way.
The republicans are on some early 19th century shit, how they are not getting laughed out of the country is ridiculous.
The thing is, while (at least from this side of the pond) things seem like obama is going to win by a landslide, i have a funny feeling we aren't getting the full picture and this is going to be quite close.
What's the opinion stateside?

Biden is a tool just like every other politician. Politics is smoke and mirrors. Its a game for the super rich and entertainment for the poor. Ps. Biden is a complete assface.

Might be, might not be... The rumors were flying back then, though.
There were definitely serious irregularities in the Florida state voting procedures (run by Bush's little brother Governor Jeb, aww how cute!) during the 2000 election (remember that one? The one that Gore won?)

Before the vote, the powers that be re-assigned neighborhood voting borders, and in some controversial cases forced the residents to travel across town to vote at their "designated" voting booth, and in some areas people who walked were met with police barricades. It was Cinci, right?

yeah in 2004 the "battleground state" was ohio. I'm pretty sure they use diebold in most counties there.
anyway, after the election there was a formal investigation into voting procedures there and, surprise surprise, voting in ohio was FUCKED.
http://www.democrats.org/a/2005/06/democracy_at_ri.php
even at the time it was fairly obvious that the election had been stolen.
and fucking kerry...
resigned without a fight and with 50 million left over in the campaign fund.

regardless of my zip code, the republican party speaks to big business, corporate collusion and bombing the planet in the name of democracy.
you don't have to be a brain surgeon to figure out the lesser of the evils inflicted upon us in the last 8 years.
people can't put food on the table these days, and its not because of the republican party, but its certainly a direct result of 75% of what that party supports.

o yea. im 100% in agreement.
they definitely speak and act FOR big business. Their superpower is their ability to speak TO....well i'm not even sure who they're speaking to...white midwesterners? and Old People. def old people.
i'm not really sure what kind of education you need to understand what is going on in government...i've met plenty of educated people who still dont get.

Hi, white midwesterner here. We're not all rural-bred Christians... I think that's McCain's target audience.

hahaha! safe. not trying to step on toes.
just trying to figure out someway of classifying the people who arent super rich but still support republicans.
also, when i say mid-west i mean it literally (if you were to start at the east coast, go west, and stop mid-way). like Wyoming and Kansas. Not the "technical" midwest that includes Indiana and Illinois.
yeah "rural-bred christians" is it tho! nice.
