Funny, because to me, that's what dubstep is all about. The future is now, but it has ben formed by the last 50 years of popularculture. Because the future is now, there is no tommorow, and the music will be dark, heavy and trippy. Dubstep is here!

Allways tripping at raves, dubstep has never been "real" party music to me. More a deep introvert escape, from the bleakness of reality, but a dark and sad one. To me, it seems like earlier psychedelic rave music doesn't really fit anymore. Back then it was about the far away future, now it's about the NOW!

What I'm trying to say is, kick back and enjoy your records once more, but from a more psychedelic perspective. It's all there!

And Kode9 is the trippiest, sci-fi'est of them all, if you ask me.

Wow...nice...I was kind of wondering if I was the only one feeling dubstep that way.

Only thing is...Dubstep is acting way more like a dissociative music than a psychedelic one...at least for me. Well, at least, the darker stuff.

Memories of the Future (Kode9) really is a masterpiece....Nine Samurai videoclip instantly hook me.

However...for some more trippy and less dark dubstep, Scuba have a lot of nice stuff. I like his smoother stuff. Fits perfectely at the end of a rave, when the sun is begining to rise.

Another vote for Whistla. As I said on antoher thread, his new stuff on Warehouse Meditation / Ringo / Clandestine Cultivations / Bankai is next level weird.

Or is this not the kind of music we were talking about? Might be a little bit on the rough side.

Dude, you have to hook me up with whatever you are smoking. It sounds dank. I agree with what I understood though haha.

I'd like to think my music is trippy on the weirder side of dubstep. Check out the link below if you feel compelled.

twisted, trippy, psychedelic.. uh?

Have a look at my youtube channel. I kinda make experimental dubstep. I dont consider it as twisted. But I do like to put in some trippy stuff (which then makes
it kind of psychedelic :P)

be sure to check out all vids because the are all together (very) different from each other

also i'm new to producing/composing music in general. I have been working with FL studio for about a week now. So I could use some comments.
new to the forums and hi everyone =)
