Dunno... I might have been irish at some point...
My names Brendan, I'm ginger (Daywalker actually), I drink constantly and my dad won't tell me what my ancestry is.
Gotta be at least trace amounts of the blood...

Why, the abundance of reasonably-priced alcohol and the lack of any real religious institutions, of course. That and the fact that I'm now genuinely terrified to go back home, what with the economy being in the state it is. We're just about managing to paper over the cracks here, but only barely.DROKKR wrote:what has a bit jarred, guilt riddled irishman in tokyo?BETAMAXNOMATES wrote:Dublin born and bred. seriously tho' i used to live in brighton. starting to think about moving over there again... more work and your money goes further. the "celtic tiger" is long gone at this stage.
it's quite scary to hear my dad go on about how ireland today reminds him of ireland in the early 80's when irish people left the country in their thousands in the hope finding work. a year or two, he says and it will all start again...

they have some support from the owners of the club now too. so a bit more money can be spent on bookings and that means less risk to the lads.ikeaboy wrote:The lads are well sound, I even got a steak dinner out of them. I'm from the sunny south east of Ireland, the Nations real capital Wexford! Born and rared only moved to the UK 7 months ago. I like it over here but I have to say I do miss Irish people I'm fad up of hearing "I don't really drink man" and "What!? Drink now but its half 1 and its Tuesday".
Fuckin tell me about, Theres only 1 type of dance music thats ever made it to wexford town and thats HARDHOUSE. If you ask someone do ya like Dubstep, your most likely to get a the reply "Whats that? some sort sauce or sumthin?"gav_35 wrote:DROKKR wrote:gav_35 wrote:[/quote
