I forgot to mention the gear I tend to use.

Disclaimer: my girlfriend works at North Face, which results in me getting 50% off everything in store, which further results in large portions of my wardrobe/gear being North Face.

I have two packs, one Osprey 85 which I use for really big trips, then a North Face Ligero (55) which I use most of the time for smaller treks. I usually use my North Face Cat's Meow sleeping bag unless I'm going somewhere really cold. I've got a North Face Solo 12 one-person tent for my single trips and a North Face Roadrunner 23 for two people. I usually carry a Thermarest too to sleep on that rocky ground. My usual shoes are North Face Hedgehogs.
