I'd even argue that dubstep NEED a bit of cheese. Some Diva vocals and rave synths would be a wonderful contrast to all the low-end moodiness.

haha, looking back 'waste thread' was a bit harsh (i was probably in a bad mood)

most of the old stuff, like the 2-steppy/dark garagy stuff i find to be a bit more 'easy going' but still quite dark music in my opinion

what artist are you specifically referring to? i haven't heard lots of aggro shit played by any US dubstep djs.
