Big up you guys, thanks very much. When you've bad boy DJs on deckle, it's going to sound large.
Void kit is the ONE. Rog is the don of speakers, no doubt.
Channel 1 at carnival is always awesome, love that warm dub sound.
Nine bar too.
Big up the speaker geeks, our time!

Sweet Potato rig is prob the best quality sound I have heard...(its always in rm2 in leeds west indian centre)
and DSF audio in Nottingham put together some of the most deadly rigs ever
- they got us banned from our venue one time...and that was just a tiny fraction of the cabs they own...
edit - I forgot the legendary Plastic People rig.
and the Funktion 1 'showroom' club called Redrum in Helsinki....

dubstep definately sounds best through scoops you can really feel the bass a lot more than other speaker designs

The original Pure Filth system in the original location was excellent. Nice narrow-enough long space, cabs on each end of the room and enough sub to shake crumbs off the ceiling and untwist light bulbs from their fixtures. Some asshole made off with the truck it was in one night...
The second incarnation is good too.

i'm pretty picky about sound systems....but this is an easy one...
iration steppas / subdub @ west indian in leeds.
by miles.....
the clarity, the sheer weight, the way that the west indian is built...its just levels in there. you can tell a system has weight when the room is rammed and still killing it, not when its empty or half full. the last sub dub i went to was wall to wall with people and absolute carnage. out to mr. simon and iration.
after subdub...i'd say it's a close call between the old days in 3rd bass for dmz, plastic people in shoreditch & love in new york city. those three systems are very similar. everyone talks about berghain in berlin, so i'm interested to check that out when i can.
