You go through like 6 months of arguing about stupid ridiculous stuff that you've never argued about before...and then you wake up one day and think..I don't even know who that is anymore!!!

the only positive thing about our relationship is the birth of my beautiful daughter (and she tries to make it it nearly impossible to feel good about it)

but I am now in the best relationship (after 12 years of rocky bs since my daughter was born)

so the bad was eventually rewarded by a good healthy relationship

Been through that one. We were 6 years in; she went to uni and got a whole new set of friends; I moved up to London to be with her and it just became obvious that we no longer had any time for each other.

Messy, messy breakup, but somehow we kept it civil, well, we were forced to keep it civil because neither of us wanted to move out of our shared house (separate rooms, of course!) and two years down the track we're still living there; only with her new bloke and my new lady.

It's normally totally fine (me and him are fine with each other as long as we've got Pro Evo, the girls can be a bit catty occasionally!) but most people think we're mental if we tell them the story!

We were both junglists - met at a party- had been following drum+basss for years..you know, every weekend at a party..standard..

Come NYE - NO QUESTION in your mind about how you are going to be spending the evening - running the best music through your head right!!...not necessarily the biggest party - but whatever party - you've got the flyers - whichever party has the DJs you want to hear...been doing this every weekend for years...

Douche wants to spend NYE - OUT OF THE BLUE- at a garbage keg party near the local university..because his "new friends" are gonna be all raging it up hard or whatever - drinking beer and standing around listening to Led Zepplin and the Beastie Boys.

NO! FUCK THAT IM PISSED..

My question is Why? Why the fuck do you want to do that? I did that shit in high school - it was weak...enormously weak ...I did not want to be there...and you DSFpeoples do not want to know how completely bad - awful that party was.

I would have had more fun mixing records back at the house, by myself with some drinks.

No, he proved a backslide - a really bad one. That is just 1 incident.

..and trust me when I say that I had cooled off in between as was going to give the party a try - but when it proved to be as bad - wait, worse than I had predicted - I felt cheated.
