I would mix with more grime if the viynal around. Give me some Maniac, Dok, Dot Rotten, Rude Kid, Guido... etc. on wax and it's going to fight it's way into alot of dubstep sets.

Plus vocal stuff from Trim, Durrty Goodz, Dot Rotten and has anyone told Dizzee about dubstep yet?

i haven't made my own mix since b4 i fell in luv with dubstep & generally i like to keep my grime & my dubstep separate nowadays but it is something that i have given a lot of thought to whilst savin up for the equipment & some djs can do both e.g. plastician at fwd>> on sunday. i started getting into dubstep out of grime after listening to a plastician grime/dubstep mix & when certain grime djs started rinsin midnight request line back in 2006. these might help:

wiley/kode9 26/1/2006 on rinse fm (essential)
trim/dusk + blackdown 27/11/2008 on rinse (good)
old newham generals shows on rinse e.g. 3/8/2008 - these & hatcha & crazy d's shows on kiss were what forced me to go out & listen to/start buying dubstep in the first place
old plastician shows, e.g. plastician/mary anne hobbs 20/7/2007 is the only one that i've got a date for on this machine, but he's done grimier (& better) ones
durrty goodz on logan sama 22/12/2008
there r lots of grime freestyles over dubstep out there, e.g. dizzee - midnight request line freestyle (not very good)/logan sama on kiss. date? but i don't know where i get them from

i'm not musically articulate enough 2 tell you why but i imagine nething by the bug featurin flowdan/warrior queen e.g. ganja at dmz on saturday!, jah war (loefah remix), & anything by footsie, anything by loefah, early skream e.g. acid people, skreamizm 1 & 2, anything by joker, etc would go really well, & obv tapped, intensive snare etc, & anything by mala/quest/silkie, just because i love those producers

& if you're into grime neyway den i recommend a file called "unknown date; wiley & dizzee" on grimetapes.com, trim - soul food vol. 1, wiley (eskiboy) - tunnel vision vol. 1-6, umbrella vol. 1 etc, if you haven't heard those already

longest post ever! i'm dyin to make this mix. sumbdy buy me a new cartridge for my soon 2 be bush mtt1/2?s & i'll do you 1. easy

There's a newham gens show with just d double from early 2007 or that era i think?
It was on barefiles before rinse decided to fuck them over. It was the heaviest dubstep set with a grime mc i ever heard but i lost it and i now dont know where to get it unless someone could upload???Please??

completely off topic, but when's this legendary 'dizzee spitting over midnight request line' event from? is there a recording of it anywhere?
