bump, sign, yeh petitions mostly never work but this kind of legislation would be fucking ridiculous.

If people get constant ringing/don't like the ringing then wear earplugs.

Or don't go to nights where you know loud music will be played.

erm, bit of research has revealed that this legislation was passed in 2005 and became law in april of last year...

Seems like yet another of the false petitions that seems to be the only thing that Government Petition website has succeeded in creating. Last year I got forwarded petitions to install Jeremy Clarkson as PM and to ban Cabbage. It's such a hotbed of direct democracy that site.

I've been sent this about 10 times on Facebook already and nobody seems to be able to link me to the actual proposed legislation?!

Democracy doesn't work if everyone just blindly follows what their mates tell them to believe in like sheep. I'm all for petitioning the government, but why not petition them about something we actually *know they're doing*? :?
