Essentially right? I don't know about the guy or the rest of his tutorials, but that's the way to set up a tone arm. End result shit's set up properly. The advice is for noobs, and badboys who think they know it all, and for anyone who just plain didn't know how to do it. If you've got a better way to do this correctly for 1200's don't keep us waiting with baited breath, let the people know.

Sorry, I was being harsh on the guy more than the tutorial, don't be distracted by me being a twat.
