yeah, but the MC doesn't sound like a complete bellend.
well he does a lot of the time.... I go to a lot of the nights and the mc will pull up a track after like 1 or 2 two bars shouting "FUCK OFF FUCK OFFFFFFFFF". Also, there's a hell of a lot of stuff that sounds like digi versions of heavy metal tracks going around at the moment. A lot of aspects of dubstep nights are very similar to metal nights although everyone tries to distance it as much as possible
I agree with you, brah, but prepare for a backlash.

theres a big difference between an MC, and a singer who would usually sings about relationships breaking down and being bullied at school. At the end of the day... Metal.. which i have absolutely no problem with... crosses over quite nicely with dubstep (reso, Claw, Atreus, DISTANCE)... but Enter Shikari... are not... in anyway whatsoever 'metal'... they are the arse of alternative music... they make it shameful to be in to music with guitars and electronics in the same tracks... and really... they probably read about dubstep in a "Whats all this hype about" kind of column in kerrang! or something...

It makes alot of sense too me. Alot of what Dubstep has become (away from the central innovators) is so white it hurts.
what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.

I really dig Enter Shikari. There I said it.

The fact that they annoy the sh1t out of everyone else only makes me love them more.

*windmill kicks*

*punches some girl standing behind me*

*wobbles uncontrollably*

I'm sure there's some way for a band to do dubstep style breakdown like this, unfortunately I don't think these guys (who I've never heard of, is it an English thing?) are the band to do it.

saw these a few years ago at the attic in leicester, in a room big enough for about 20 people. utter tripe, enjoyed the beat downs though...everybody loves a good beat down.

Yeah I heard they were recording, and honestly I kind of wish they didn't. There's no way it's going to live up to the expectations of their older stuff so I'm just going to end up being disappointed. :\
