Fiona Apple - Tidal (album) to get me into a good headspace for producin'

J Dilla works a treat sometimes.

And as others have said, catching a dose of live music action will get the creative juices flowing, tho' where i live its mainly shite, so i usually have to brave the circle pits of the local metal/hardcore scene to get a fix of some weighty music :)

If I find myself lacking inspiration or running out of ideas, I listen to metal and stuff completely different to dubstep for a while and then come back to it all refreshed.
I don't listen to dubstep when making a track because in past experiences I have found that my track will come out very similar to a track i was listening to without realising.
