I have just downloaded the audio extractor and am encodeing my samples but they only do it in chapter, how do i then cut up the chapter into the bit i want?

i was just useing the dvd audiot extractor but it only saves it in chapters which are around 2-5 mins and i want to be able to cut them to just be the audio i want

how do you do this? ive got an alesis iso2 and i cnt work out any output from my tv or xboc into my io2, ive also got a small behringer mixer, how would i do this so i could sample threw my xbox :)
