Please......don't. I beg you, if you're doing a joy division remix, delete it.. They're WAY to amazing for a dubstep remix.

Never gonna improve the atmospherics of tunes like 'Candidate'.

And yes, choosing 'Love will tear' would be ridiculously pathetically lazy.
yeah candidate is the one, but "Love Will Tear" wouldn't make good dubstep at all. too quick and not dark enough. not dissing the tune, but better Joy Division song for a dubstep cover.

Is it me or are there a lot of covers now, seems a bit lazy imo.

I have to agree with the people who think Joy Division dubstep could work, but not necessarily with Love Will Tear Us Apart. Hell, if the Perceptionists can sample Joy Division for a hiphop track and make it work (see "What Have We Got to Lose"), using Joy Division in dubstep should be easy.

Actually,it's shit.Saw them play it live in '94(I was living in San Diego at the time.Myself and about 8 of my friends walked out(it was only thier 3rd song in).In fact,I went in to Off The Record the next day and traded my Unbroken 7"s in.

i'll have to dig it up, but there is already a dubstep "love will tear us apart" cover floating out there somewhere, a couple years old.

it's "ok", not great...i always mean to find an occasion to play
it out, but it never quite fits.

I say leave it buried.
