I never heard of anyone uses AIM till I started using this forum.

MSN and Mirc is standard with all my European friends.

Aim and AOL is for the favorite among the noobs and Americans.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Actually aim has a far superior file transfer speeds. i use it for dub swapping and demo sending. i use msn for close mates... aim for bizz

And everywhere else is ICQ still I guess. I got on ICQ first in like 98 or something then started using AIM not long after that. Yeah everyone I know in American has AIM. It really isn't about one being better than the other it's just where everyone is at. I used Yahoo for a little while I thought it was superior to all of them but I had no one to talk to on there. I really like Digsby to handle them all in one but I have not had good luck with transfers so I just keep that on my lappy while the business desk uses the AIM client for the sake of reliability.
