Poll: Hardware or Software

Given that most analogue synths don't sound like other analogue synths anyway, the idea that there's 'an analogue sound' that all digital synths should aspire to always seems a bit daft. Can't we just say 'sounds good' or 'doesn't sound good'?

But combining them into one piece, i haven't been impressed yet.

Only the really really expensive stuff does it well (at least in terms of stuff I am interested in). I want a Summit EQ-200B

hardware is more fun and generally sounds better. its also really expensive and can be a pain in the ass.

use both imo.

BTW the best thing about hardware is that when your computer inevitably crashes, you don't lose any settings (thank F#CK!)
