Do it. Also leave a coin out, and when he notices it (which would take a long time), and he wants it, pay that 1£ with pennies.

Yeah, I blame it on her having me when she was 15 or some shit, and my dad leaving her when I was about 9. Whooo!

Anyway, I've just applied for a few houses, and the responses I've got have been mostly positive but not.;

do it... not too sure of the laws in the UK but i know in the US legal tender (aka money) is legal regardless of form whether its a penny or a $100 bill. im pretty positive its the same way in the UK. the only thing that might snagg you innit is they may have to be in coin rolls... but if youre getting em from the bank i assume theyd be rolled already

nah i looked and you can only use pennies up to 20p, but with quids you can use them for an unlimited amount.

im gonna do the amount minus the deposit, told her to come round saturday for it, ill ask for a receipt haha

similar thing happened to me last week but not as bad. I put some washing in the washing machine and my mum went mental and threatened to chuck me out and take my car away and stuff and was just shouting for ages and she ended up crying. mums are fuck ups

got court on monday for going through a red light so thatll be £60 fine and £60 court costs, thats getting paid in £ coins too haha. gonna ring up the bank today and make sure they have enough for me tomorrow.

Slightly less funny as you did actually break the law rather than have a tnuc of a landlord to get even with.... I had to go to court to receive a 6 week ban and a £450 fine a few years ago... if you did the crime, you've just gotta take it like a man, mate.
