Big Ben!!

Many thanks... glad you are digging...

You are gonna shit, but the c# minor was originally performed live with a cellist (not me, i was computering, but my cello professor's son!) and marimba!!!! best part was- it was in a small cafe/bar... only a handful of people could even fit. It was for my release party for my 'When I'm 6' 12".... I think someone did a minidisc recording of the night. This bit sounds wicked, but it wasn't good enough recording quality to release... so I just released the computer part (recorded internally in Live).

*unrelated*
So when are you and I gonna do a collab?? Not only do I love your tracks- but the name 'Paramad XEP' is too good not to use... hehehe

Is there a mirror? I'm getting poor speeds from the link given.

C# Minor is the one!

Sorry to the people who are having trouble.

I've heard about some serious lag times with the archive.org link -- but have heard better results about the direct Acroplane link:

http://www.acroplane.co.uk/music/ACP049 ... kbeats.zip

If problems persist, I'll definitely look into mirroring it- already had an offer from someone to do so.

But many, many thanks for all the interest and support. It sounds like a lot of people are grabbing and I have been receiving some really nice feedback. I appreciate it very much.

holy shit man

im totally digging this

it reminds me some of venetian snares mixed with trip hop

i could definitely see manipulating some of these tracks and making some more dubsteppy tunes if that would be cool with you

Have the download speeds been better?

I know there was a lot of lag the first couple of days...

Glad to hear all the support!

Just listening now, and it's really making me want to do a concept album now....

Thanks again for the DL!

After three days of solidly listening to this and nothing else (except the new boxcutter album) I am now an official Map EP fan.

You rule beyond belief. C#minor is really a beautiful piece of work. So is the rest of the album. So deep and cerebral.

Love you. (In an entirely musical way)

good work, it's also handy that a few of the tracks begin with nothing but the drums - this is fun for sampling.

big ups to you mad ep, and acroplane of course!

DJ Vision: Yeah, remix away! Can't wait to hear it. I also look forward to hearing people mix these with acapellas for dj mixes. If people want, I can post a list of bpms as well... Originally I was gonna embed the BPM in the id3 tag... but by the time I handed in the final product to Acroplane, I hadn't slept in 3 days and was a bit loopy and forgot.

Karmacazee: Many thanks for your very kind words- much appreciated. By the way- your avatar rules. That Tom & Jerry episode was one of my favorite, in fact, somewhere on my hard drive I have some audio samples that I ripped from it.

Paradigm X: Nope, haven't seen that yet... but I don't have audio on this work computer... so I'll have to check at home.

Abs: Cheers... and yeah, I kept the intros sparse on a lot of them for exactly that purpose. Sampling. Besides Bach & Shostakovich, the other biggest influence for this project was DJ Krush. I rate his breaks over just about everyone... and I remember when I first starting making tracks 1999, I was listening to a wicked track of his... and at the end of the track, it stops... and then just brings back the beat dry. As if it was his way of saying "and for all you producers out there- here is the raw break".

Many, many thanks for the continued love towards this release. I really appreciate the kind words.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately... I was back in the States for my brother's wedding for a while (which is why I wasn't able to do my July Sub.FM show), now I am back in the UK applying for jobs and finishing up the next release (a dirty bass 12" with mcs... more on that later!)

Hope everyone is well.
