Ridiculous amount of hate starting on this thread, but still... Check out my dubstep... I don't pay my bills through music, I just like a little money in the bank to buy some new 12" promos..

I want to get on juno, beatport etc...But don't know how to do it..

But I want to get my stuff on vinyl which could get sold etc.. but again..No idea how to go about with that...

Andd Addc182... Which venue was this and where?

Init, People are just going nuts all over this thread, but that's always nice...

And Addc...Who are you!?

What a small world.

I have personally never bought a thing a off iTunes but I think it's good for getting music about...

And I think everyone should just mash out and do the left foot skank.

iTunes sucks as a business, but I won't rip on DIY musicians for using free distribution.

iTunes Plus files also cost more, like they are penalizing you for taking the DRM off. They have like 1/7000th of their catalogue as DRM free. This is behind the times. Big label paranoia is soooo 1985.

Home taping sure destroyed the music industry!!! It would be alive and well today if it werent for those beatnicks and their god damn cassette tapes!!!

Once again, not true. Everything on iTunes is iTunes Plus and they all cost $1.

iTunes is okay for your average consumer (not audiophiles or DJs), but I wouldn't buy from it. If I wanted to introduce someone to dubstep, I wouldn't mind sending them to iTunes.

His tunes are next level compared to yours. Independent jury says you lose. Sorry.

well people can say what they want about itunes... the truth is they are THE largest music seller in the WORLD.. they sell more music than anyone else.. amazon, beatport, ANYONE... so those of you who hate on itunes can keep hating... the rest of us will make our tunes available to the vast majority of the music buyers market.
