You can make pads and so called filthy sounds on any synth

Avoid Brutal Electro 2 as well.

PS: Guitar Center sells Massive for $100 - cheaper than anywhere else.

the only soft synths ive used are the es1, es2 and all the others that are in logic as well as absynth and fm7. what else has some pretty good sounds?
