Used to play a game (war rock), and you needed an account for it, and I chose NilsVG as login name (My name + initials of family name).
But the account got banned, for no reason (f*$k k2!), so I chose NilsFG as my new login name.

A username was born.

Ehm, used to DJ nothing but 70/80s funk, soul, disco etc. that I inherited craaaaates of from my old man. Only other contender was "spinmaster wanky thrasback" but didnt think it would look great on a mug.

It's an ode the the underpants gnomes of South Park, and their inability to fathom what to do with the stuff they've got in order to make something tangible. Also, it's the "second wave" of DJing/producing for me, having moved away from my old techno/house guise.

That's what I thought as well before I started listening to BM, but it makes a lot of sense. BM itself is alllll about atmosphere, first and foremost, so for it to grow to be rather ambient is, I think, the logical next step in the type of music. Though ambient black metal's already pretty old. I guess it's already about 16 years old, with the recording of 'Filosofem' by Burzum, but it was released in 1996.

It's my favorite style of melody too. Velvet Cacoon is so fucking good.

Heads who dig Velvet Cacoon also tend to like Wrath Of The Weak ('Always In Anger' is such a damn good tune), who is sadly labeled as a VC 'rip-off', but sounds totally different (really fucking noisy, but still so atmospheric).

Think it was Kid Cazual of Streamizm called me it cos i was young and into dub/dubstep lol, may of been cos my dad is into dub so he got called the Dubfather first lol

Erm, Got the name B Nanni last year.
I got a 'certain' area pierced last year

And soon after (wihin a few hours of them both finding out) my mates Neyull and Sem were discussing this whole thing of piercings and me.
Some how Sem came up with the name B Nanni.
Nanni being a shortend version of punanni.
And the B coz my name is Briony.

It's stuck ever since.

mine is my middle name, originates from jersey. it is meant to be pronounced "eye-err", but everyone seem to pronounce it "a-hee-err" and i jus get over it cos correcting people is lame
