I just went to the symphony orchestra in toronto a couple months ago and was thinking exactly this, I wonder what a drum and bass or dubstep influence on an orchestra would sound like.

I hope he comes out with something wicked!

pretty interesting some dark sounds in there.. definitely doesnt even sound like classical, very ambient though

im betting it would sound 10 times better in real life than reproduced though, too bad there probably wont be that opportunity out here in winterworld canada

Interesting piece, I don't really think I'd class it as a great classical piece of music but the textures and atmospheres are really nice, I reckon he should take a recording of it and get back to the studio and make a dnb track from it, could be dope if done properly imho.

I'm looking forward to watching the second program though to see exactly how much of it was translated from goldie's plan, how much creativity was put in by the composors scoring it and how happy he was with the final outcome.

I thnk ruckspin's done some work with real orchestra type stuff, not herd n e thng concrete tho his stuf's propa wel arranged. i thnk Miserere on RAN001 is 1 of th best dubstep songs ive herd cz it's so fluid, organic and progressive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLrCDFfqsZ4 atmosphere-of-the universe stuff[/u]

Mad respect for Goldie, really cool show, I wish there were more shows taking electronic artists out of their realm, or even just documentarys of electronic artists

It pisses me off that show
all it is is a show for middle class old people to just see goldie not understanding much about classical music and go, ooh isn't that quaint :?
