Watch Metropolis and City Lights and say again how you don't care about a silent film.
Like I said, I haven't seen it so I can't comment on how it actually is, it just comes off as trying to be as artsty as can be, which IMO detracts from it's artisticness. But don't get me wrong, it could be a good movie.

all my friends love this shit . its fucking stupid. current roster of generally accepted "funny" actors as themselves in their only character reiterated as ABC's XYZ-in law, with less plot than an episode of robot chicken and not a tenth of the comedy
go to vegas, hijinks ensue, every joke was showed and emphasized during the trailer already... add a random baby and mike tyson, fuck it, they'll pay to see it!

that shit was weak. and they made two more of the same weak ass movie, cuz fuck it, we'll pay to see it.

some quite bizarre selections in this thread imo, but it's a very subjective thing...

definitely agree with True Grit though - I'm a huge fan of the Coen Brothers but found that movie as dull as ditchwater. Tried to watch it several times, only to find it a guaranteed cure for my insomnia.
