So my girlfriend is home from her movie night. I must upload this now even though there is so much to do. I dunno how it fits the theme really. But I had fun and hadnt made a tune in months. So big up ya'll.

Got it. Big ups to you. The theme doesn't really exist, btw, it is just something to talk about. Sounds great bro bro, and so glad to hear from you. We'll see you next week.

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
fragments thats a good base for a solid track mane, would like to hear a proper finished version of it. especially like it when it goes into slightly insane territory with those weird plinkplonk melodies and stuttering rhythms in the second half hahah
bud, i would ask for a 320 but ive a feeling that tune is too big for you to just give away like that
my tune ended up having nothing to do with robots lol

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
thanks JizzMan. will have a listen to yours as well ASAP.
You guys seem kinda stoked about this track so I will probably finish it. Im not really about getting signed or anything, so I will probably put it up as a freebie when Im done with it.
All the weird plinkplonks come from running the melody through the OTO Biscuit, live knob twisting, recording that. Then I synched the 4 tracks that came out well with the melody and automated their volume, they are bussed to a channel with tweaked tape echo preset on U he Satin.
If you like dub reggae sounds or tape FX at all dont fuck around with expensive hardware delays or other software. U he Satin is the balls for tape FX kinda stuff. Pitch modulation + Satin = insta BoC

@Bud: Curious how you made that robot vocal. Is it just text to speech? Then later things get kinda FM ish and growl ish almost. Is that still the robot vocal and how did you process it? I can see cutting that piece up and doing more with it for sure. Nice one.
@JizzMan: EDIT. Ok, got yours to load man. Sounding good. Im digging that almost wonky beat, hi hat pattern is tight. Strings are nice. Is there a lot of resonance going on? Im listen on cheap 2.1 computer speakers shoved under a counter, so sometimes shit sounds weird. Anyway, I like that there is kind of a resonant texture to it. Actually the strings are more than nice. Really lush. Is that a multi sample library you are using?
I think both of you came up with some solid ideas for sure.

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
i think jizzmans is on private you need to listen on the soundcloud page
@jizzman: :3 yeah no chance i give that gem away for free
but yeah i dig your tune too very laid back. you are right hard to find robotic resemblances but still a nice short tune so far.
maybe if you make it longer take away the beat or one element a tad earlier than you did now so its not too loopy after a while its fine for a 2 minute song but i could see it being problematic after 4 minutes or so
@fragments : def just text to speech with effect chains mostly d blue stretch and glitch with automation
at the end i introduced some glitchgirlneo(sth like that)and ohm comb filter into the chain
the poem was ghoethe lol so the growls are the beatiful words of ghoethe

Re: TUNA! LIVES FOREVER
fragments I just sampled an old soul song for the strings, glad to hear I got it to sample pack quality hahah
bud I know its just a short simple loop, I always get stuck at this point. gotta try and get it past that on this track cos it does have potential
