Aye, most pain I have caused myself has been through being an idiot on a bike. I don't have a bike any more nor do I play paintball, tragically unfit but at least I am not licking wounds. Was good fun at the time but I am far too unfit to do it now - maybe take it up again one day.

I did one of those dusk till dawn races for fun a few years ago, there was a bunch of us and someone brought a load of hash cake. Was a bit mad doing a race for 24 hours and boxed

i can't even think about touching cotton wool without shuddering. touching it is murder
i once ate a steak so good that i had to make a £20 international phone call to my dad to tell him how good it was.
i've eaten iguana curry. tastes like chicken.
a dog bit me in the face when i was 18 months old, missing my eye by milimetres. i permanently look like i purposely shave lines in my right eyebrow.

I HATE down escalators. Always think that I'm gonna mess up my timing, fall to the bottom and just lie in a crumpled heap there getting my head bashed in as each step goes past.
As such, I need to stand there for a few seconds, get the timing right, and put my foot onto a fully emerged step. It's annoying, especially for people behind me.
