Why would he say "these growls are the closest I can get" if it's a sample? Unless you're accusing him of straight up lying about it?

The high end of the sampled was cut from SMaNS, I coulnt remake them. I ade the mid and bass layers though. The triplet kick was because i used the sample cut from my orginal remake of the track. With enough time i could get the high end down, but its too hard. I posted the 3xOSC and patcher presets earlier too.

Its a very nice track. I really enjoyed the whole thing.
It looks like you've learned a lot. I found this forum when we were on like page 50, so i missed a lot.
Is there any specific place i can maybe look to find out these skills with fm8? They are really dope man.

Props. Try resampling your growls though, after a bit i got distracted. Throw them in a sampler and fuck with them, you'll be surprised at the dope stuff you'll get, take any advice from any of these posts :)

Let me know if you can hit me with how you made any of those FM8 patches, or if you want to give us some fm8 pointers that'd be appreciated. Much love <3

I have been super busy with music but i will deliver because i like most of you even if u are all circle-jerkers  :? :Q: :a:  :w: :i: :q: :z: .

Haha yay :) I understand the patch giving out thing. But I'm sure we'd all greatly appreciate the tips you have. :) I'm really stumped on fm8 and sytrus stuff.

Agreed. It's hard to expand on the growls done with FM, Everything I attempt just has me go back to the same default positions.

Here we go. How about you say that from the start and also post a sample of what you actually did without sampling SMANS? anything would sound good if you partially layer it with the best growl ever.

Good stuff. Could you post the same track prior using Ozone 5 or whatever on the mastering? Im just curious. How many -db do you push the treshold in the mastering to make it louder?
Whats the RMS of the track before and after "mastering"?
Are you using FLstudio btw?

about the growl itself, if you only use EQ for the vowels, what EQ? I still dont get how the EQ thing works for the vowels, and im not using Ableton so I dont have the presets that come within eq8

Yeah I'd be interested in some similar infom, the mix/master sounds punchy as hell

Also, congrats man - I meant to enter that contest but never got round to finishing my track, nice work :D
