if it's happening even with a new copy, you don't have your turntable properly adjusted. look up the recommended specs for your cartridge/needle

Mine does too. The first one I got did so I exchanged it and the new one did the same thing.
seriously? you needed that replaced cause of a tiny little skip like that? Too picky, well unless you plan on playing it out

I just do not want to listen to a record that skips, regardless of what I am doing with it.

Don't be stupid.

yep they is deffinatly nothing wrong with this vinyl. well it's strange coz mine keept skipping too, i recently got new stanton stylus, i couldn't work it out thinking it must be the vinyl coz no other vinyl of mine skips. But after a bit of a youtube search i found a vid saying you don't need that extra screw weight on the very back of the tone arm on all needles on if the cart is not heavy heavy or something like that, so i took them off and it played perfect. stil a bit puzzled as to why 1 record out of 100s can skip if the tonearm aint set up properly. I'm sure it got explained soon after the vinyl release but i be fucked if i can remember now.
Gonna wack this on back to front after a take my dog for his bedtime walkies in a bit.

theres nothing wrong with getting a replacement cause of a skip, you dickwad (well, if the skip is actually a defect and not just a poorly adjusted tt)

call me what you want, taking a record back for a 2 second skip is bullshit, i don't care what you say. When I get a record i'm grateful for what i got, i just shut up and play it.

dude... you payed for a product, and if it's defective you have the right for a replacement. if you personally have no problem with skips, thats cool, but people should be able to get replacements if they want
