@ Lowphat - Nice vibes man. You should layer that clap with a punchier snare and bring up the high end EQ a bit...its got a kind of keyboard percussion feel to it. On a whole the tracks not too bad. The sub might need some attack brought up on it, I hear a slight click in it. Also, I can't tell what the sample is saying. Perhaps bring it up and EQ it a bit. Keep on it though. Good tune!

@ Kes-Es - Lovin the tempo! Everything sounds nice on production except maybe a bit too much distortion on that bass. I hear a bit of a white noise and its a little detracting from the bass itself. Other than that good stuff!

@ JLproductions - Great vibes! Quality stuff. Love the pan/stereo you got set on some of the elements in the track. Really sets stuff apart. You fill the freq space well. Love to hear the final version. Don't think it should sound too different from this one!

Here's a little WIP I'm workin on.

I didn't even see you had posted something, but I guess that was stupid because why would you give FB and not post something.

It sounds good, just maybe some distortion and you're set. What did you use for this?

Correction: Classic hiphop doesnt have 808 sub bass. alot of it has decent sub, its just not used in the same way, its more like a bassline than a kick pattern. like listen to this beat:

Thank you for the feedback guys, yeah the bass of the deeper dub I made will be raised more in the mids department, the kick will also be added an EQ to be more of a sharp hard kick rather than a bland non existent thud... Ahh! I cant wait to finish this one and more like these, a slight attack of hi hats will happen somewhere near the ending, but a light touch of them so as to not disturb the bass monster waiting in his bass cave. I might take my vocal sample out the part where the monster demands more dubstep and not cookies LOL XD, I might rerecord that or make it more monster like cause i made it to be like the cookie monster kind of hahaha

@ Chaddub I am not too much into hip hop but, I enjoy the beat a lot! I like the bass dubstep brings, but I like where you are going with that !
@jimbeaux dude keep working on that, thats sweet, I love that growl hahaha its like its speakign to me in another language, the language of bass :D
@dmisreal I love that man for real..... like for real... like finish it now!!! so i can download it!!! haha all of you finish all you have so i can dl them hahaha i love all your guys work, i might start following alll of you hahaha
@lowphat diggin that deeeeeeeeeep bass, really diggin it!!!

@Jetpack - Intro is deep. i reckon you could do with more bass frequencies in there. hi hats sound crisp. vocals would be good aswell if you can do it!!!

@blakedipp - in my opinion you need to dash that first synth and try something else. the beat ain't bad for a first try!

@crakasteven - RE: The End - snare needs a more punch to it. 2:31ish is fuckin nice man. more bass!!

@JLproductions - Hybrid is a proper nice idea. like the drop and its cool for a bit but then it just feels a bit empty to me. if it were me i'd add some sparkly high end sound(s) to it. would wanna hear the finished version alot!!

@ standby Loving the break gives a real nice garagey feel (track seems a bit quiet though I'd maybe raise everything a little bit) I like the background pad nice synkroish feeling and the harp sounding instrument. Sounds really nice when the bass comes in (Typical future garagery bassline but it works well like it always does!) I think it's still missing filling in a few areas maybe a delayed vocal over it to add a bit more but besides that it is sounding pretty darn good I'm looking forward to seeing the end product!.

@ chaddub intro had me laughing lol, Don't really like the mid bass because I hate WOMPS but I like the way you introduce them in. would sound good as a skit intbetween tracks on a album!

@ jimbeaux LOL chill out mate no need to throw your toys out the pram people do get missed here sometimes just bump it up, besides that I don't really like the tune the md bass sounds a bit too crackly at some points. (maybe too much bitcrush) but I'm against brostep in general so it wouldnt be much good feedback from me. needs a proper intro to introduce the tune first. I like the drums though to be honest I like the snare. I'd work on the intro first then introduce the mid bass's because you got them covered nicely for a brostep number.

@malleus I'm not too keen on the intro maybe remove the mid bass till after the drop? I do like the mid bass not too much wobble got a nice sway too it aswell big thumbs up, the snare is a bit too wet i'd change that or layer it with some harder ones. the top end is a bit high so I would probably lower that a bit or eq them slightly differently but as a whole I can see this taking a really good shape.

This is my minimal work in progress my tunes seem to be getting less and less lately haha, any feedback appreciated! big ups!

@LucasKane mate, your track illusions is sick. just had to go from headphones to monitors after i heard the beat... love the athmosphere.. sounds like you've made it in a tunnel. i think a heavier second drop is in order here. proper nice work!!

@ChadDub i don't get it. Have you just not listened to what you recorded and posted it or is the "track" meant to be like that??

@standby (aurora) love the melodies working together in the later part ,reminds me of some good old idm. dont find anything non fitting in this one; i mean you could always try reversed drums, pads etc but then it could destroy the track

@lukaskane suuuuub, really nice drumwork some hi hats seem just a little bit sharp, love the melody ,for the second part you could try adding some midrange over the wobble to give it another element.

@malleus strrrrrrrrraight in the face :corndance: , only thing is the hi layered clapsound is overpowering little bit on my headphones ; love the wobble changes.

@jimbeaux sounddesign is very good but i think the heavy growl sound like at 1 24 is enough for a track and instead of the filthy sound more spaces filled with voice clips or reversed growls or something, but thats just an idea

more mellow tune i know the acapella is maybe overused but i liked it

yeah and thats the raw structure of a new tune but maybe it can develope to something

pavvel - that was fucking dooooooope, finish that shit and send it to me haha. the beginning drums sound kind of iffy but like other than that doppee shittt!

BudSpencertron - sick subs! my subwoofer was enjoying this, love the acapella too, sick flow. keep it up buddy!

Standby - (aurora) loved it but it was repetitive, if thats what you were aiming for with little switch ups through out the track, it sound sick. love the reverb on the tracks too!
(long road ahead) - aw man some sick dnb classic drum samples would complete this, love that low sub too, just fell into it.

LucasKane - tracks heavy as fuck! love that minimal sound, with that little rhythm synth in the back completes the deepness of the track. well done.

heres some experimental indie dub sheit hope you guys like the new flow

You need to give other people feedback first if you expect any on your stuff. 3 people apparently

@LucasKane - Very nice atmosphere sounds. I am also liking the string-instruments. Very chill tune, keep it up!

@Krave - Digging the intro and the snare man. Synth work is really nice as well, not too high pitched but still wobbly. Definitely like the " experimental " flow!

@pavvel - Hell yea man. "Yoi"'s are sounding real good, I'd add a little more effect to it though to make it really stand out from other tracks. Drums are sounding good as well man.

@jimbeaux - :Q:

Here is my noobish attempt at some sound design, It needs WAY more flow...

xgli7chx - maybe add more interesting hihat patterns and bring them out more. also add maybe 8 more bars before the beginning for longer intro.

krave - nice and clean sounding bass sounds nice and organic great mixdown on everything really. only thing i can think of is maybe add some sort of cool sounding perc somewhere in the drumline on the second drop. also i think it would sound cool if at one point you slowed the wobble of the bass more for a few bars.

budspencerton - niice i really like the percussion sounds in this one mix is good. i actually havent heard this acapella before so its new to me. everything soudns good to me man just make it longer including before the first 'drop' and work on it a bit more and i think you could almost call it done.

standby - I like this one, very calm and nothing is particularly annoying or prominent. nice collection of sounds and i enjoyed the melody that kicks in in the background at 1;50ish. keep working on this one and make it longer(maybe add one more breakdown and drop and then end it) is all i can suggest other than maybe make the kick a tiny bit stronger. great job

any crit/tips on how to get this one sounding smoother and not so harsh on the ears? or anything else for that matter
