This is good, synths sound great. Has a really nice clean overall sound to it

Only crit would have to be, maybe make the clap a bit snappier, louder in the mix, and at nearly 7 mins, mifght e a tad too long

Almost finished.
Gotta do something about the hats at the beginning. Might toss em and start from scrap.

Mix is pretty rough.

Any critiques much appreciated.
Nice vibes man, loved the drop around 2.55

Really nice track like how you use the little portamento thing at the end of the bass riff, drums sound nice and quite punchy and some nice random sample leading into the snare you got there. Kick and snare could use with a bit of over drive & there could possibly be a bit more sub :D overall great tune. Keep it up

Another track I'm working on, still trying to get the bassline and some other stuff right on that other song. Anyways, this is a more chilled out song, would like some feedback on it. :)

Coming along quite nicely. Did get a bit repetitive though. The rain sample for example, you could do a couple of little things with that throughout, like very light filtering and volume automation to give the effect of a journey, like you are getting closer to and further from the rain.

Also, the snare/clap, try a few edits throughout with that, put the snare in places you wouldnt normally expect to hear it. Thats what id do anyway. Would like to hear the final edit

Thanks doods :]

Most recent version is up, super close to done.
Gotta do some work on transitions and tidying throughout, but should get it done tomorrow.

Soundcloud

Then it's off to Depone who graciously offered to mix it down for me as I'm still a bit under par there.

np man but did u change up the riff that comes at 40 seconds? i liked the other one better maybe u could mix the 2 together cuz it sounds like u lost the sound around 48-49 in wip2 and i liked that a lot

ill tune! I enjoyed it. but:

1:36-1:49 section should be extended another 8 bars :D . the reason I think so is because I'm not a fan of the bass @ 1:50 - 2:41.

3:12-3:25 or so, with the pads. should be more than 4 bars :D

I say 'should' as in 'it would be nice if'.

:)
Safe! Just having a re-arrange now to see how it sounds  Was thinking of doing another version of this tune without that bass sound and calling the lost in space remix anyways, so those little chilled out bits would fill out most of the tune :D

And yeah man - enjoyed the lo-fi jazzy vibes of your tune Integration of Sorrel, just thinking maybe that white noise/crackle could be a bit lower in the mix? Or is that some mad effect you've put on the drums and can't be altered? Seriously original sound though dude, fairplay. And one or two of the synth sounds are a bit too loud, but I quite like the way they jump out of the mix at you...

Thanks for the feedback, liking the idea of the filtering and volume automation. Will agree that the snare needs to be changed up, same with the kick drum.

thanks for the feedback. this morning/last night the project folder (along with several others) got deleted :( ...how I don't know but this one is gone now. fortunately I had made a few edits and rendered it. the vinyl distortion shit can't be altered now :( . ah well lol

glad you enjoyed it though....respect.

when you done with rearranging, 320??? :D
