i dont think anyone has ever managed to successfully storm the castle have they? every time i see it they get their rings shot immediately and really anticlimactically. There was a similar problem with crystal maze tbh, all these cool challenges and w/e and then they just have to grab some bits of paper from the air for a minute, pretty rubbish.

I've seen a few winners, although i think it was when they used lazers rather than water guns.

Was round my grans for Christmas and my Uncle and Aunt were there along with my Aunts parents. My Aunt is Japanese and her dad was watching shit tons of Takeshi's castle one afternoon and getting really hyped. Found out after talking about it a couple minutes that he actually went to school with Takeshi Kitano and is good mates with him.
