I'm quoting myself for this

Added some more tunes.

i work long hours and need a ot of repetitive electronic beats beats beats to get me through the day
I'm quite in the same situation as yourself.
I'm listening music for 4-5 hours out of 8, but i couldn't concentrate so well on what i was doing while listening to dubstep, techno and other genres that i was into.
For some time I've started listening to minimal and microhouse and it got me pretty hooked
First as a background noise, but nowadays because i like it
Try it for yourself, maybe you'll like it, but you also might hate it
Later added:
pretty bait, but this one does the trick on the dance floor
Re: the techno thread
I downloaded some random show from Berlin Community Radio's soundcloud last week, but I don't remember which show it was, here https://soundcloud.com/berlincommunityradio
you're bound 2 find some minimal there

Re: the techno thread
Minimal as in melodic and small drums? As a genre it's a lot of bait stuff.
Most of the minimal tracks that I like, I put under techno
Like Eshu, Sandwell District, Abdulla Rashim and Polar Inertia.

Re: the techno thread
Oh right. I'm only really familiar with the Perlon label in that area. Lots of great
releases on there. Any mix by Zip is good.

Abdulla Rashim is off the hook.
Last week been into a frenzy and listened to every mix available on youtube/soundcloud.
It's probably a mood thing also, but once you get into it you will be probably shuffling through his mixes for hours.
Lucy does the same trick to me as well

Re: the techno thread
seeing him next month http://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=28632
as for minimal tech-house, top guys in the scene are usually on point - stuff from perlon, arpiar, understand, sylphe etc - but there's a lot of shit 10+ min tunes with nothing going on

Ultra, you know that Ben UFO it's on the same date as Rokolectiv?
Saw that you rate Hessle pretty much ..
Such a bummer to put Ben same day as Objekt, Abdulla Rashim and Fatima

Re: the techno thread
Guys at Quietus made Bloc sound so good
Anyone been?
Nina Kraviz remains elusive to me. Quite like the tunes released on her
'Trip' label, except the ones by her. And of the three times that I've seen her play,
I was hardly interested twice, but one set seemed to consist solely out of experimental
acid records salvaged from sunken submarines. That's a good thing.

Definitely some gems up for grabs in those nuclear subs.
Yeah great line up for sure. The holiday park thing doesn't sound that appealing though.
