^I'd guess so, the artist is Loefah (feat. Trigga) so it's not like they haven't acknowledged the fact

lol at royalties.

isn't the whole point that all proceeds go to charity? No one's getting any royalties...

Have to admit pressing isn't the greatest of western.. quieter than most of my vinyl and slight crackles in places.

Might take it back -_-

There were a bunch of older releases and test pressings. I arrived at the stall late because of the huge queue, but spotted Skream 'Repercussions of a Razor Blade', and TPs of Pinch. They had Kryptic Minds 'Badman' TP as well.

I missed out on a copy of Western at the start of the day, even though I arrived at 11. But found out they were doing an auction at the end of the day, with loads of signed vinyl, TPs, t-shirts, and 5 more copies of Western. Managed to win a copy of Western :U: and also a test press of DMZ005 Neverland/Stuck!!!!!!!!! Glad I stuck around!

Really enjoyed the market overall, got a bunch of old second hand vinyl as well for well cheap.
Ah yeah safe man, auction was jokes.. I caught the end of you bagging the dmz test press.. Wandered what dmz released it was..
Market was really good, bagged the new bug double 10" and the new Paul woolford ep..
And a shit load of old dub/reggae records.
I have no problem with the way they set out to do it, made loads of money for charity.

Was unfortunate for people not living in London but plenty of people I met travelled far to reach so big up to them.

Much prefer buying records from ships stalls compared to buying off Internet so big up everyone who supported and reached, was a huge success imo.

Can't believe I got that DMZ for so cheap, really wished I'd bid on the ASBO001 that was going as well though.

To be honest, I thought the 5 copies of Western at the auction would have gone for more, and the DMZ/ASBO.

Anyway, all the money from the items at auction was going to the charity as well, which is more than what any of the other labels did as far as I'm aware... Even though I was pretty frustrated when I got there and didn't get Western, I stuck around anyway, browsed the rest of the market and found some real gems. The auction was jokes too. Defo would go again if there was another one. Maybe a dsf meet up next time for people to exchange/sell their own vinyl? :)

I think I spoke to you in the queue, I'm the tall guy who had to double check if it was the right queue. I wish I had stayed for the auction :u:
Probably did mate, spoke to a few peeps so can't remember, but aye the auction was classic. Chunky the auctioneer = legend

The 5 copies of Western went for between £35-£50 at the auction.

Nice find on the vid, always fun playing spot yourself :6:

Anyone find any pics/vids of the auction? Also, saw some guy interviewing Loefah after the auction, anyone know who that was for?

lol yeah im at 0.11 just missing out  ....u can also see the dad and his kid getting the last copy, softened the blow tbh, glad they got it instead of some other tnuc.

I'm not trying to judge anyone (but I'm gonna) but there were some fully suspect girls with a guy who got one in the queue, really would be surprised if they own a turntable, overheard one of them looking back at the queue and saying "some of these people are going to get the thing, are they.."
