guys...
little 'problem'!

I have a connection to a club/bar here in my city. it's a quite cool place. good people around there. they play sometimes dubstep too.
anyway, my mate behind the bar told me that he would love to stream DSF sessions straight into the location...

problem is: wednsdays suck! friday, saturday or sunday evening would be best. monday&tuestday works out too i think.
best time would be late afternoon/early evening.
also we need to get a little better concept... i mean. drum n bass is cool... but it might be better if we hold a line somehow and keep it somewhere around 140bpm :o it's just for sure a switch-off at a coffeeshop/bar if you get a heavy amen pumping with 170bpm straight into your face...

there is also a subwoofer in this place btw.

what you think... my thoughts are: yeah that's cool. why not take that chance. but if you wan't to keep al teh freedom, i would kindly ask if I could do my show on a other time&dayslot. because for me it's a good promotion and also it's the best way to promote good deep bass music...

I don't understand man. He wants to play out the DSF sessions into the bar? Or he wants to stream form the bar into the DSF sessions?

it's a free for all man, if ya wanna stream on fridays etc i'm sure it's cool with basic and bmills. i'm still gonna spin dnb cause well it's my roots and if people don't like it don't tune. i could spin dubstep, garage/2step, electro house, acid house all night, but then i'd be bored and not get hyped like i do when i just zone out among some breakbeats and bass. different strokes for different folks man, and thankfully dsfsessions is cool about it like leet radio used to be when i spun dubstep when it was taboo on my dnb show.
i'm a live dj not a jukebox

nah man, don't get me wrong. i'm the most open minded guy as long as it's quality. i often put strange shit into my mix such as a classical song or trip hoppy shit or whatever.

it's just concerning this location won't tune in when jungle/hardcore is played out i think.
and that's why i'm asking for a time slot i can do..

other thing is: i would find it a bit shitty if noone of you guys will be locked in when i'm doing this. don't want to seperate somehow :(

so... i have a little idea:

anyone up for it to do a show on a different day, probably friday.... keeping the vibe low. select whatever you want, can be dub, deep dubstep anything bass heavy but meditative... then we'd have two days in the week with DSF sessions. we have had by now approx 15-20 people listening. which is great. we might expand to 2 days...

let me hear all of your opinions

not trying to take a dig at ya man, but the beauty of net radio and streaming is it's a free for all and honestly least for me an outlet i can have fun on, play whatever and not have to deal with drunken bar goers asking for the latest top 40 or worry about the owner saying this tune isn't good for dancing stop playing it. why i have no problem doing long sets and zoning out and not worrying about perfect planned mixes and just sharing tunes and mixing i like with like minded people.

i'm all for it, but i don't run it. just kinda anti idea of station atm if ya ask me, but maybe could coincide...
tell the bar owner drum and bass and hardcore isnt all the shit you hear mainstream wise
