This is gonna be kind of a long post I think. I wasn't able to give feedback when I posted my track cause I was just linking it from work. Can't really listen to much music when I'm at work. Thanks to everyone that gave me feedback on my track. I really appreciate it all. It's nice to get some opinions on stuff for once. Up until I found this forum I couldn't get any opinions or feedback on pretty much anything, and what I did get was extremely limited.
@Wirez: I really like the tracks you've posted in here. Especially that first track, I think Game Over? The breaks were great and I loved that Bouncy vocal you used at the beginning of each drop.
@Mistayif: Really enjoyed Interlude. The drums were great. Had a great chilled out vibe. I'm not even sure if that was a vocal I heard or if it was just a pad, either way it fit perfectly.
@Kaiori Breathe: If you broke the rules it definitely doesn't bother me. That video game compilation track you posted was excellent. Makes me think of some of the great stuff that was on the old Megaman games and Donkey Kong Country. IMO The Donkey Kong Country series had some of the greatest soundtracks of any game I've ever played.
@Bitcrusher: Cursed Oscillatah was a pretty good track. I think the only thing I thought stood out, at least to me, as not sounding right was that vocal sample. When I heard it, I just felt, with the dirty dark sound you have going with the other sounds, that it should have sounded meaner, if that makes any sense. I also think the kick could have stood out a bit more, but I think it still fits as is.
@Fassyman: Very nice, and dark track. I thought the wobbles fit very well, and I really liked that delayed sounding melody.
@Noctonal: Very big sound. I really liked that. I usually go for the more subby sound but this was nice. Just when you think it might start getting repetitive you completely change up the bass. Nice looking out there. I really like how it just never lets up. The whole track is just non-stop battery to the eardrum.
@Frank Grimes jr: Really nice vibe. I love the ethnic sounds you used. That flute sound is absolutely hypnotic when paired with the sub bass.
@Djwom: I Liked your track. I think the wobble could have stood out a bit more. The melody kinda takes over the whole track and you kinda lose focus on the bassline. However, the melody is really catchy. Not just the progression, but the sound itself. Also I liked how on beat everything was. Generally I like a little chaos sometimes but at the same time it's really nice to just be able to groove to everything in the track at the same time.
@An Expresso: It's very "Jungley" if that's even a word. I'm not really to into jungle but I liked the chill sound of the track. I think the pads could be brought down just a bit. Although I'm listening with my headphones and they tend to bring out the higher frequencies more than I'd like, so it could just be that.
@Drdeft: I didn't know what to expect with the intro. I really wasn't digging the intro. But after about the 30 second mark I really started to get into it. I liked the break style of beat you got going. I think the bass could come down just a tad on the high end. I was losing all the other sounds against the wobble.
@Kontigobeats: Quality track man. I don't really have any real critique other than it being great. I thought the vocals sounded excellent. I liked the vinyl static sound, I thought it really gave the song some character. It's different, and in my opinion different is always great.
Told you it would be a bit long. Anyway, this is about all I have time for right now. I'll try to come back and get some more feedback in.
