loving the intro melody and the percussion. subbass in the drop is powerful, i love my tunes with the heavy 808s. can't help but think that maybe a 2 steppy style drum beat may have worked better cause the percussions in the intro create that feeling. very nice track tho nevertheless

this track is ridiculously nice! i completly understand what you mean about the 2step vibes though mistayif, but i also love the simple dubstep vibes.
maybe doa a 2step edit maxtone?

BIGUP!

@maxtone: Love the intro, wasn't sure how it was gonna drop but when it did it definitely didn't dissappoint, nice solid tune there mate!

@bradicle: Really solid track mate but the mix feels a bit boxey (especially the vocals), I really think it would be worth having a bit of a rework on the mixdown and see if you can give everything a bit more separation & clarity.

@Lman (insert last year): Sounding really nice, can't help wandering if some subtle evolving atmospheric sounds behind it might add to it a bit more, prehaps worth a try?

@Debaser1: Nice energy with those beats, I think the synths are a bit to dissonant for my tastes but the mixdown and arrangement sounds great.

@mistayif (w4): Nice funky loose rhythm, and nice pianos, strings & vocals but they do seem a bit to far back in the mix to me and sounds to subtle, it'd be nice to bring the a bit more the to forefront I think.

(satin lace): sounds nice man, really liking those 80s style synths. real nice tune to chill to.

@brettheaslewood: Top tune man, everything sounds spot on and the really good mixdown too.

@ dub lemon. Cheers mate. Yea I just got the vocal sample off some site, already had some effects on it so that's about as crisp as they are (which isn't very) so just tried to work with it how it was. As for mixdown, hasn't really had one. I'm still noob when it comes to producing so still learning alot of stuff. Big up for the reply thougn.

@Bradicle: i like this, but i'm gonna have to agree that the intro sounds a little cluttered/muddy. the vocals get a little lost for me. but right when that clears up (around 1:00) right before the drop, it sounds sick, as well as the drop itself! that's fucking hugeee. super powerful

@maxtone: goddamn i dig this one. like someone else already said, the intro is amazing, and that drop is bigggg. i really can't suggest anything at this point, everything seems well polished. nice job!

@mistayif: like this too! i like those almost whiney vocal samples you have, the the piano sounds great, especially before that second drop.

@the dub lemon: mmmm. like the drums in the intro as well as that pitch bend down before the.........HOLY SHIT THE DROP! this is straight up delicious! and i like those trancey stabs you fit in there, nice contrast. second drop just hit me in the face too, this shit's real good man! props!

Here's my newest track. as a new producer i'm trying to shy away from the typical brostep trend that everyone seems to get sucked into, so hopefully i got something goin for me!

didn't get much feedback first time around in the WIP thread, so i'd really appreciate some criticism from you guys. gotta learn somehow!

willyryan042 - the fast wobble gives it a wicked anxious feel on top of the chilled vibe I like. It reminds me of a twisted fairground such an interesting vibe. The 0:55- 2:45 might be a bit too long for me though the sfxish sort of things keep grabbing my attention back. Not sure about the backing atonal pad thing in the middle break (2:43-3:36). Great stuff though man

bradicle - big sound, really epic. The synth is a bit Euro-rave (probably completely wrong word for it) for me personally. Also I'd say the triangly sorta sound around 1:10 is a bit loud but thats personal preference I guess. When the track comes back again around 2:15 I would have maybe put some lfo-ing on the main bass instead of the solid sound going on to break it up a bit but still sounds wicked man.

the dub lemon - the starting bit si so uplifting like it a lot. I think maybe the build up is a tad long from 0:43-0:54 but it does make the drop that much cooler when it comes in... Apart from that really have nothing to say the ending when the bassdrum comes in harder works so well and all the dubstep parts are amazing!

Mystayif/ satin - Nice vibes man, laid back almost dancehall style going on. Mixdown is pretty good but i think it could use some more prominent sounds comin through like a main melody or some vocals would be nice decent track tho. peace

Maxtone/ sub bass is good volume but but there is a lil distortion in with the kick, its a minor ting but just takes this back from being crisp. Like tht plucky synth, is it a sliced up sample or your own synth? percussion is a bit basic for me. if it wernt for the melodies this would be very basic/repetitive. it goes in the right direction mate just needs to be worked on structure wise and bit of variation and your onto winner. peace

Bret/like a g6 mixdown aint bad, the is toooo much mid/high in there tho man if you turn it up your ears will die lol. bet you was suffering from white noise issues when laying in bed whilst mixing this :P. vocals are bit repetitive for me but they sounds like part of the track rather than placed on top. Its just all a bit muddy in the mids just needs tightening up a bit. Some decent ideas but would like to hear a touch mroe variation. keep at it.

common k this one sounds a bit tidier on the whole but my ears are still hating you from those highs, gotta turn it back down lol. Like that almost gameboy style synth that rolls along the track. If not for the vocals though this would be proper monotonus. so switch it up abit and watch the vocals as they slip in patches imo and its a banger :P

The dub lemon/law, mix down sounds tite, well bouncy in playful on the intro like happy hardcore. Rapid ting drumma stepping for once with some fun involved. well glitchy without ruining the flo. your drums riffs and perc variation is the sex man. Some pretty creative shit here man this defo a banger mate. nice n original.
you other track wont play soundcloud seems a lil slow tnite

Blindside is my new one, check it and let me know. wouldnt mind if a few of ya ventured onto my sc :P

!peace!

@RatRaceProducing

1. I have not.
2. I make a cover for every tune I complete.
3. I comment directly on peoples soundclouds if I like their material, not 300 @so-&so’s…

This is a thread for finished tunes. I finished a tune and wanted to share it. Stop being a jerk.

@mistayif-really nice vibe man it went a different direction than i thought it would. Good atmos and melody very chilled.
@brettheaslewood-Love the really deep wobble in that one man. Nice mixdown everything is in its place and the vocals are a great touch.
@the Dub lemon-wow wasnt ready for that drop haha.Great crossover style track like your midrange synth and the fx are cool too keep up the good work.
@willryan042-Personally i would have liked to have heard a few more fx and risers filling the track out a bit more but i suppose your going for that minimal sound. Overall the track rolls along nicely and has a good vibe, levels are pretty good too.

This is my latest. Its a vip mix of a recent track i felt i could have done much better so i remade it this week.

Mixdown needs some touching up when I have some daytime set aside to crank it full force. Other than that, tune is solid.
