I got mine ordered. But I got mine from the post office in the little kind of red neck town a couple miles from my mum's house.

In no particular order:
Indigo
Instra:mental
Kode 9
Loefah
Mala
Shackleton
Synkro
The Bug
Untold
V.I.V.E.K.

I'm coming from Canada, so these are all artists I've never seen and rarely (if ever) get the chance to see over here. Actually, pretty much everyone on the Outlook line-up is. I don't get many DJ mixes, pretty much just productions; are there any of these guys I'm overestimating in relation to others on the line-up? 'Cause I know I'm going to go to this, and then 3 weeks later discover some artist who blows me away and had been at Outlook but I just totally overlooked. I want to try and avoid that as much as possible, so suggestions welcome!

Sounds like a plan, but at this point i'm not even sure I have a festival ticket so i'm not getting hyped/posting artists I want to see/agreeing to Ninja rendezvous that I might not be able to attend.

Main people I'm hyped for possibly seeing...

V.I.V.E.K
Mala (as always! :h: )
Loefah (seen him a decent amount, but he still gets me going)
Pinch
Goth-Trad
Jah Shaka
Channel One (can't miss an opportunity)
Oneman
Ben UFO

? Kromestar ? (would you guys suggest seeing him? Caught a short set by him that was clearly half-arsed, but I expect if he wants to he can give a belter...)

But there are sooooo many. I'm sure whatever I get to catch it'll be great. Also...Deep Medi boat party! :D
...deep in your chest...

My friends and I got our 'tickets' through one of the artists - did this last year with no problems and got an actual ticket. This year (at this extremely late stage) we're being told that we may not be issued with a paper ticket at all. Sooooo are we on some kind of list? How does it work? Has this 'artist' just jacked us for just under a G? We are all now prangin' out coz there is no conformation of anything.
If we don't get in i'm going to make the most of it and spend the holiday looking for weaknesses in the festivals security!

The artist is..... an ......'associate' of a friend of mine, and as such I don't trust him as far as I can chuck him. I am 100% 'ZEN' until we get there and shit goes wrong. If anyone is in the vicinity of the campsite entrance on the 30th and you hear this phrase - "Well I'm a mushroom-cloud-laying motherfucker, motherfucker!" - RUN FOR COVER coz i'll be on a man-hunt!

Hopefully he plays a better set than he did in Leicester a few months back.... Came on, played 'Junglist', then basically got this sweaty kid with a towel round his neck to mix for him most of the time - well I say mix, more like cuing up records and spinning the last one back! Then old Congo got on the CDJs and dropped Tarantula by Pendulum :6:

I left pretty soon after that

Buy a ticket anyway?

I'll start up a roll call thread to see if we can organise a meet up somewhere, especially if some people are heading out there early.

I could, but i'd rather show solidarity and be in the same metaphorical boat as my friends. Would be shit without them and i'd feel like a complete bastard.

On the plus side, I guess you can probably still get on a boat without a festival ticket! Plus, since you're camping, they won't be able to keep you away from the beach stage!

Last year, I generally found I enjoyed the dub acts more to be honest. Seemed to fit more with the chilled beach vibes. I think I'll be heading to more of those as well this year.

Are the dub/reggae acts a daytime beach thing? Or are some of them main stage acts at the fort at night?
