chomsky rarely does TV anymore, and when he does, there's always somebody trying to tell him he's not an american, and that dissent isn't american. he can debate with anyone, and it always turns into chomsky being factual, and the opposing viewpoint becoming sensational and emphatic, telling him he's poison, etc.
