does it have to do with pressing plants operating at full capacity and represses being queued at the back?
im waiting for the gorgon remix....
I think repressing older releases put on the back foot for now, Kahn- Abattoir/ Oveh Deh got repressed fairly quickly so don't think it's a issue with the pressing plants.

The commodo stuff badly needs a repress, people take the piss with the prices on those.

Still if they focusing on new releases that's no bad thing

yeah but then again if they just did recently did a first run of pressings, then it's gonna be quick and easy to repress since they already have in the lacquers, art, etc

maybe they just don't want to repress.

i'd love to see represses of Goth Trad more than anything else from medi (aside from new releases obviously). Specifically Babylon Fall and Sunbeam / Two Faced.

The first of these involves us treating the track as an subject rather than an object.
We know that this is "deep house" because it sounds like contemporary "deep house" even though this "deep house" sounds nothing like actual deep house even if it is a pitch-perfect approximation of the schematic signifiers that help us code this as the kind of "deep house" we internally associate with white Huaraches and carrot-bottomed jeans, footballers haircuts and a "cheeky" Nandos.

What goons.

Off topic: Is there any information about Kahn Imhotep? It sounds like Abbatoir on steroids imo, wicked tune :h:

That article is the most wanky/pretentious thing I've ever read.
