got stopped at the Omani border yesterday and was searched, the whole car got checked, they even tore open my fucking tea bags.. anyway, my colleague had some of amino acid pills and we both had a few freezer bags filled with powders and when we were asked about them, my colleague just said 'gym' and flexed his biceps and all the border police burst out laughing and told us to fuck off and be on our way

I just changed gym and it has fucked all my shit up, need to get the hang of the new place. Need to work on my wide grip pull ups too, 3x5 and I'm ruined, loads of the plates are 45 pounds as opposed to 20kg and it has set me back a bit Foot gym though

My gym is moving to the next street at some point soon. Apparently there will be a TRX setup.

And hopefully an incline treadmill that doesn't break if you look at it.

Hire a couple of Samoans to try and rape you at the end of each week, unless you're able to fight them off.

Then gear your workouts toward self defence strength gains.

You'll have a prison physique (thick/solid/tight) within 3 months.

Deadlifted harder than I've ever deadlifted before today, managed to do around 300lbs 3 times before my form started to go a bit so I stopped, my mate went up to 470 and he's not a juicer, just a fireman with plenty of time to lift every day. Been feeling sore as fuck since, being in a new gym full of stronger people really makes you wanna catch up lol, I feel puny in there.


Also, is there any point in taking BCAAs and protein shakes? the protein shakes are gonna get broken down to amino acids anyway, right? is it a waste of time? will i just be pissing the excess out?
