just had a big argument with someone i used to have so much respect for (manager of a pretty big band these days) over me posting a status saying, essentially, 'if ur gonna post a generic status confirming ur hatred for and glee over the death of an old woman, fuck off my friends list".

personal reasons aside, subject matter aside, its about respecting ME not the woman. ive seen enough death recently. no matter how much i or anyone else despised her policies, celebrating death is never acceptable in my eyes. people are fucking disgusting when it comes to this bandwagon bullshit, and im truly bored of being harrassed for wanting to be peaceful and calm in life, as opposed to grabbing torches and pitchforks and bellowing at the dead

cos theres a LOT of people posting stuff. im talking seventeen year old girls posting 'glad the stnuc dead' etc etc

people who clearly have no personal connection to her ideals and policies, who just want to be part of the wagon group so their friends can 'like' their 'witty' insults. theres more people that are doing it than arent, if u know what i mean. posting a status out of shock really, im disturbed as to how many people are going along with it
