that is the codex from Seraphini, one of the best books ever written. Is an encyclopedia of the world of Luigi Seraphini, using his own calligraphy and his drawings . The book is beautiful and very well edited, it has the alphabet to understand the calligraphy but is really like automatic writing.
It also have an introduction from Italo Calvino, one of my favorite writers too:

Thinking about doing a dark, semi-ambient/tempo-agnostic mix. So much cool stuff from 90 - 180 BPM that could be cool to incorporate. Would be a good excuse to dig up some records I almost never play.
